Naia Izumi

Naia Izumi is an American virtuoso guitarist and singer-songwriter from Columbus, Georgia residing in Los Angeles. In 2018, he won NPR’s fourth annual Tiny Desk Contest with his submission “Soft Spoken,” which was written “in order to try to address dealing with prejudices both social and artistic.” He signed with Sony Masterworks in 2019 and released his debut album A Residency in the Los Angeles Area in 2021. Come hear this rising star and marvel at Izumi’s soulful voice and Hendrix-esque guitar skills.

“Math-rock precision and R&B passion merge… a hint of Hendrix behind a breathy, androgynous vocal that doesn’t mince words.” – Jon Pareles, The New York Times

Honey Collective

Based in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Honey Collective is a hip-hop/funk/jazz band touring around Arkansas and beyond since 2018. In 2020, they were featured on The Kennedy Center’s “Arts Across America” digital performance series. Their newest single “I’ll See You” “holds a heart and sound reminiscent of classic soul music.”
