Joel Frahm

Enjoy a night of jazz in the North Forest, presented in collaboration with the NWA Jazz Society! For more than 30 years, Joel Frahm worked in New York City jazz clubs, collaborating with other musicians and honing his craft. Now residing in Nashville, his bold tenor sound has won fans in the US and across the world. He has worked alongside Betty Carter, Kenny Barron, Freddy Cole, Dianne Schuur, Kurt Elling, Jane Monheit, Bill Charlap, Brad Mehldau, Matt Wilson, Cyrille Aimee, and many other top artists, playing on more than 100 recordings and appearing at jazz festivals in the United States, Europe, Israel, Canada and South America. Fans know him for his big tenor sound: fluid, inventive, and full of passion. Joel is joined on the Coca-Cola Stage by the Ted Ludwig Trio, acclaimed for their virtuosity and originality.
