Featured Artisan: Marcus Lewis
Join us in the Museum Store for a pop-up show by our featured artisan and creator Marcus Lewis!
A lover of art and fashion, Marcus Lewis decided to combine the two by adding his artwork to his fashion and hasn’t looked back since. His line of apparel and accessories is colorful and fun, adding a touch of individuality to a casual or formal ensemble. Each unique, hand-painted piece is sure to make a statement.
We’ll also be debuting exclusive, limited-edition sweatshirts and tees inspired by our newest temporary exhibition, The Dirty South: Contemporary Art, Material Culture, and the Sonic Impulse! Come learn about fashion, art, and clothing design from this fantastic Little Rock artist, then browse our collection of Marcus’s work.
Free, no ticket required. Drop in anytime from 10 AM to 6 PM.
The Dirty South is organized by the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts: Valerie Cassel Oliver, VMFA’s Sydney and Frances Lewis Family Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art.
