Museum & Buildings
Trails and Grounds open daily sunrise to sunset.
The trails and museum will be closed June 6 – 8 for private events. The North Forest Trail will remain open to the public at these times.
Join us for an afternoon of family-friendly fun at the museum, including a special reading by author Darcy Patinson of the Crystal Bridges-inspired Friday Comes on Tuesday, the delightful story of Friday, a dog who discovers that the world of art is filled with many wonderful friends.
Come enjoy readings of the new book, make art on the South Lawn, and explore the museum just like Friday with an art-themed scavenger hunt! You’ll meet some of our dog-loving community partners, and see just how art lets all of us—even a dog—become part of the American experience.
Free, no tickets required. Drop in anytime from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
