“Adriana Pineda, a Latina artist from Miami, Florida, began her artistic journey as a child, earning awards at the Fine Art Competition for Christian Schools. After moving to Fayetteville, Arkansas in 2016, she studied Graphic Design and languages at the University of Arkansas. In 2020, she launched her brand, Art by AMP, creating collections later showcased at various local venues.
Influenced by her bright and lively Miami upbringing, her bold, expressive art led Adriana to expand into live painting and consequently, to publish her first bilingual children’s book: “Donde Va el Sol – Where the Sun Goes,” in 2023. Using this array of mediums, she emphasizes the importance of language and communication, inspiring others to embrace multilingualism and artistic expression. “It is rarely about WHAT I am creating – but more HOW I create. It’s about flowing through the process of making – choreographing a dance between the mind and the canvas, experiencing the process, the movement, the brush strokes and handfuls of paint. Moving freely across the canvas to tell a story of emotion and memories, feelings and energies. An abstraction- an artifact of the living moment.”
