Deepavali with Ra-Ve Cultural Foundation

Party
Great Hall

Celebrate Deepavali in the Great Hall!

A set of diya with burning candles sit on a dark red cloth as part of a Diwali celebration

Ra-Ve Cultural Foundation, in collaboration with Crystal Bridges, is excited to celebrate Deepavali (also called Diwali), the Indian festival of lights!

Together, we’ll watch the story of Deepavali through a live Yakshagana performance, a traditional Indian theater style that combines music, dance, and storytelling.

Get creative with hands-on activities, including creating a traditional Indian Diya (lamp) from clay and exploring festive Indian crafts and designs inspired by this joyful holiday.

Local artists from our community will be joining the celebration, and we’re inviting school kids and families from across Northwest Arkansas to take part. As always, we’ll end the evening on a sweet note with traditional treats to mark the occasion!

This event is free and open to all. We hope you’ll join us for an afternoon of culture, creativity, and community spirit.

Free, tickets required. Reserve your spot online through Ra-Ve Cultural Foundation.
