Kick things off in Eleven, where our mixologists will teach you how to craft the perfect cocktail. Then head into the America 250: Common Threads exhibition with the curators for a tour that explores the symbols artists turn to when celebrating or commenting on the United States: George Washington’s many faces, eagles appearing across books, baskets, and coverlets, flags seen as quilts or as documentation of the moon landing, and more.

About the Hosts

Ella Nowicki is the Windgate Curatorial Fellow at Crystal Bridges. She has an MA in Art History (Arts of the Americas) from the University of Arkansas. She works on nineteenth- and early-twentieth century art, with particular interests in craft, material culture, and memory.

Larissa Randall (she/her) is the Assistant Curator of American Art at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, Arkansas. In her role, Randall cares for the eighteenth and nineteenth century art collection. She prioritizes interdisciplinary curatorial projects that investigate the contemporary relevance of history and situate art museums as spaces for dialogue.
