This class series will focus on gaining and developing ceramic skills with a strong emphasis on open-ended inquiry to foster a space of community engagement and learning among peers. Using traditional and new technologies, students will explore various surface treatments such as underglaze, slip application, and glazing techniques such as luster and other specialty glazes. Through this exploration, artists will be asked to push various ceramic practices into the future while appreciating its rich past, in order to foster new paths within their own creative practices.

Tickets are $231 ($192.50/members and adults 25 and under). Reserve your spot online or with Guest Experience at (479) 657-2335 today.

All materials are included. Enrolled students will also have access to Sunday open‑studio hours for independent practice. Class runs August 8 – September 12.
