CB to You Mobile Art Lab: NWA Black Music Expo
Due to expected inclement weather, this event has moved indoors at the Jones Center.
Join us April 15 at the Arkansas Black Music Expo as we celebrate Black music and culture with Music Moves. Taking place at the Jones Center in Springdale, Arkansas, the Expo is a two-day family event celebrating Black music with award-winning performances, food, drum-making, community partners, and more.
The CB to You Mobile Art Lab will be hosting a drop-in, mixed media drawing activity to help you flex your creative muscles, as well as offering free tickets to our latest temporary exhibition, The Dirty South: Contemporary Art, Material Culture, and the Sonic Impulse. We’ll also be hosting our featured local artist Markeith Woods as he performs a live painting demonstration inspired by the musicians on stage.
So stop on by—there’s sure to be plenty of creative fun for all. See you there!
Free, no tickets required. Drop by anytime from 5 to 8 p.m.
