Join the CB to You Mobile Art Lab February 24 at NWA 4 Ukraine: An Evening of Peace, Love, and Support, located at Arkansas Arts Academy High School in Rogers, Arkansas!
Organized by Hugs From Friends in partnership with the Arkansas Arts Academy, this free, family-friendly evening of Ukrainian culture, art and music aims to bring awareness about the war in Ukraine and showcase organizations providing humanitarian aid.
Arkansas Arts Academy students have been studying Ukrainian culture, including: art, music, and history, and are choreographing performances to share with students in Ukraine and demonstrate their solidarity and support. Singer Yuliia Tymochko, runner up in Ukraine’s version of The Voice, is making a special trip to Northwest Arkansas to perform at the event.
Arkansas Arts Academy is also partnering with savED—an organization based in Chernihiv, Ukraine—dedicated to rebuilding schools destroyed in the war. This collaboration will enable students in Arkansas to learn more about the horrible situation in Ukraine and connect their classrooms directly to the students in Chernihiv through artwork and videos.
The event also includes information booths from local organizations providing information for individuals to support humanitarian efforts, a silent auction with art created by local and regional artists, and performances by Fayetteville International Folk Dancers and other regional arts organizations.
The CB to You Mobile Art Lab will be distributing free, take-home art kits, as well as offering free tickets to our upcoming exhibition, Diego Rivera’s America.

The CB to You Mobile Art Lab is a traveling pop-up art experience energizing the power of community through art. Featuring regional artists from across Northwest Arkansas, the art lab will be visiting local libraries and festivals around the region to bring artmaking, music, storytelling, and more.
