Join us for concert in partnership with the Arkansas Philharmonic Orchestra and inspired by our latest exhibition, Knowing the West!

Experience a mesmerizing evening of dynamic performance that showcases folk music of the Ozarks by Oklahoma composer, Troy Armstrong, an evocative new work by Sara Carina Graef inspired by the Yaqo’n Indian tribe of Oregon and accompanied by images of the spectacular Yakona Nature Preserve, and music from Aaron Copland’s iconic western ballet, Rodeo. Dr. Mindy Besaw, Director of Research, Fellowships and University Partnerships and Curator, American Art, will join APO Music Director Steven Byess to discuss items from the exhibition.
