Join Mike Gibson of Gibson Works for an afternoon of topiary art! Participants learn creative pruning techniques while learning more about the therapeutic benefits of topiary. They will be led to create their own unique topiary in this hands-on transformative class. Want to meet Mike before the class? Come early to see a live demonstration for inspiration (10-12pm).

Mike P. Gibson, a self-taught topiary artist from Youngstown, OH, has over 30 years of experience beautifying public spaces. Founder of Gibson Works LLC, he has created over 600 topiaries nationwide. A featured contestant on HGTV’s Clipped, he was artist-in-residence at Pearl Fryar’s Topiary Garden and received the 2024 Sowing Excellence Award. Gibson leads topiary therapy workshops, demonstrations, and lectures, sharing the therapeutic benefits of the art. He lives in Columbia, SC, with his wife and two children.
