Bring out your inner artist in this adult creative workshop! Led by guest instructor and local artist Steven Wise, we’ll learn to create linocut prints inspired by Steven’s own practice. You’ll visit the galleries to see prints in the museum’s collection, then head into the studios to create your own. You’ll learn how to carve a custom design in linoleum, how to use the tools of the printmaking trade, and use your design to create unique prints with the same technique used by Picasso, Matisse, and others.
Beginner-friendly, this program is open to all experience levels and includes step-by-step guidance to help your vision come to life along with all necessary supplies.
Tickets are $55 ($44 for members), reserve your spot online or with Guest Services at (479) 657-2335 today.
