Who knew weaving paired with wine? Join us at Crystal Bridges in Studios D&E for an evening introduction to the art of weaving. In this fun class we’ll learn how to create woven wall hangers, all while sipping wine and having a good time!  Bonus: At the end of the class you’ll receive a handmade wooden loom to take home. One glass of wine or beer is provided along with light appetizers.

Inspired by Crafting America, Little Rock-based artist Avery Bingham will guide guests through the step-by-step process of weaving.  You will learn how to warp your  loom, how to do a tabby stitch, and leave the class with your very own colorful, textured woven wall hanging. After the class, you will have the skills to continue weaving and keep the long tradition of this craft in America alive!

Per CDC guidelines, guests and staff who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are no longer required to wear face coverings. If guests are not vaccinated, face coverings are still required. Face coverings are still recommended for children 2 and up, unless they are vaccinated. Face coverings will be available upon entry for those who do not have one.
