Indulge in a relaxing night of colorful creation at the museum, led by Fayetteville artist Matt Miller! Combining meditation practice with the quiet joy of artmaking, Matt will lead you through an evening of mindful painting paired with drinks and light appetizers. You’ll learn how to apply techniques honed by the instructor and end the night with a sense of calm and an expressive painting of your own design. Bring a friend and explore your creative side as we learn, unwind, and start the year off right.

No prior experience in art or meditation is necessary to be part of this program—we welcome guests of all experience levels. All materials are provided, along with light appetizers and one glass of beer or wine. See you there!

Tickets are $30 ($27 for members), register online or by calling Guest Services at 479.657.2335 to reserve your spot today.

About the Instructor

Matt Miller is a transdisciplinary visual artist with a background in anthropology, fine art, and finance. His artwork, rooted in drawing and painting, combines geometry, scientific knowledge, and ancestral wisdom. His practice seeks to understand the interconnections of human behavior in the present world that co-exists within nature and the cosmos.  During his art career, Matt has engaged such ideas through hundreds of commissioned works, murals, solo exhibitions, and collaborations across the United States and abroad. He has been an Artist Inc facilitator, Crystal Bridges collaborator, and is currently a professional artist residing in Northwest Arkansas.
