About the Instructor:
Angie Gomez is a lifelong resident of Arkansas, coming from a long line of strong women who quilted, sewed, and created crafts and art. When she began to pursue her art career, she began exploring mixed media, including the use of thread, fabric, and metal in her highly texturized work. Her love for her heritage and appreciation of textiles has given rise to her style of mixing media on canvas. Her current works are hyper-focused on exploring the parallels of the micro and macro world, exploring perspective, depth, and our fundamental nature.
