Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art will be closed Monday, May 13, to prepare for the visit of Antiques Roadshow. We will return to normal hours of operation Wednesday, May 15.
An example of monotype printing, featuring letters and numbers layered over each other in a grouping against a blank background.

Who says adult nights out have to be dull?

Indulge in a relaxed night of spirited creation at the museum! Led by a local artist, we’ll enjoy an evening of guided artmaking exploring monotype printing, paired with drinks and light appetizers. Named after the Latin words for “one kind”, monotype printmaking allows you to create striking images with remarkable flexibility and variation. You’ll learn the fundamental techniques needed to layer color, use stencils, trace designs, and more as you create a personalized work that’s truly one–of-a-kind.

No prior experience in art is necessary to be part of this program—we welcome guests of all experience levels. All materials are provided, along with light appetizers and one glass of beer or wine. See you there!

Tickets are $30 ($26 for members), reserve your spot online or with Guest Services at (479) 657-2335 today.
