We invite you to join the Arkansas Coalition of Marshallese (ACOM), Crystal Bridges, and director Kholoud Sawaf for the premiere of the first short film in the Navigating series, We Are Here. Explore the history of the US relationship with the Marshall Islands through the story of a Marshallese mother and daughter living in Northwest Arkansas.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with the film’s stars, director, and local Marshallese youth. This film series is part of the Arts and Social Impact Accelerator Program (ASAP), which cultivates partnerships with social service agencies and local artists in Northwest Arkansas.
