Sep 16, 2022 Volunteer Spotlight Looking for a new volunteer opportunity? We may just have the perfect one for you. As part of our new exhibition We the People: A Radical Notion of Democracy, we’ve revamped the Studio (the museum’s artmaking space for all ages) to include new constitution-themed art projects, literature, and play things, and we are looking for volunteers to be part of the experience. Studio Volunteers bring this space to life, engaging guests in a variety of meaningful and enjoyable hands-on art experiences. Here are four reasons to become a Studio Volunteer: 1. Studio Assistants work independently, but interact with a wide cross section of Crystal Bridges’ guests. 2. Each studio volunteer contributes to the development and culture of the brand new Studio space by recommending activities and providing instruction for visitors of all ages and backgrounds; preparing and replenishing materials; and assisting visitors in “hands on” activities. 3. Studio Assistants can help guests tap into their inner artists, and even develop art experiences for visitors (with the approval of staff). 4. Studio Assistants enjoy being part of a space that provides a rest stop for our guests. Shifts for Studio Volunteers are available daily from 1 to 4 p.m. Ready to take the next step?
