You are a bumblebee
Jelia Gueramian’s fiber work invites viewers to access their inner child and imagination, finding kinship with animals and insects and their qualities. The central figure is clearly a panda bear, but the title challenges the reality of the depiction. Are we a bumblebee peering out at a panda bear from within a hive? Or are we a small child playing pretend and transforming the world around us?
