Ezekiel's Wheel
In this work, Dominican American artist Kenny Rivero alludes to the biblical story of Ezekiel’s Wheel. The Hebrew prophet Ezekiel has a vision of a divine chariot that represents God's power and presence in the world. He describes the chariot's wheels as intersecting one another, like a gyroscope, and as capable of moving in any direction without turning. Rivero’s work speaks to the artist’s examination of the relationship among visitations, apparitions, and technology.
