Infinity Mirrored Room - My Heart Is Dancing into the Universe
By lining the walls and ceiling with mirrors, artist Yayoi Kusama transforms the boundaries of this small room into a limitless expanse containing a seemingly endless number of colorful polka-dotted lanterns. Like the universe itself, this space extends without end, which may be a little disorienting or unsettling for some. But because our own reflection becomes part of this repetition, the work reassuringly reminds us that we are also part of this vast universe.
