9th-12th School Visits

Our high school tours are designed with specific grade levels in mind, building in complexity and depth across grades 9–12. However, we recognize that instructional goals vary by classroom. Teachers are welcome to request tours outside their assigned grade band, and our team will work with you to select the experience that best aligns with your students' needs and learning objectives.

Humanities

Stories of U.S.: Identity, Community, and Civic Life (9th Grade)

Through close observation and discussion, students consider how visual art reflects personal experiences and broader social narratives.

Discovering Meaning: Understanding Themes and Symbols Through Art (10th Grade)

Students explore the universal themes, archetypes, symbols, and motifs that appear across works of art and literature. By analyzing visual storytelling, students strengthen the critical thinking and interpretation skills they can apply to literature, historical sources, and complex texts across disciplines.

Through Our Eyes: The Art of Perspective (11th Grade)

Blending visual art with concepts from psychology and the humanities, students investigate how experiences, emotions, and perspectives shape the way we see ourselves and others. Make Your Mark: Materials and Techniques (9th - 12th)

Careers

Future Forward: Careers in Museums and the Arts (9th - 10th Grade)

Students explore the diverse careers that bring museums and cultural organizations to life while identifying the transferable skills that connect classroom learning to future opportunities. Through conversations with museum professionals and authentic examples from across the institution, students consider how communication, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving support success across a wide range of careers.

Next-Gen Innovators: Tailored Career Exploration (11th - 12th Grade)
