The Crystal Bridges art collection offers a superb overview of American art, including American masterworks as well as surprising, lesser-known gems from the colonial era to today. Sculpture in the collection graces both interior galleries and outdoor trails. The Museum’s permanent collection galleries are refreshed regularly, with new acquisitions and works from the Museum’s vaults displayed on a rotating basis in addition to familiar guest favorites and a changing array of special focus groupings and temporary installations of light-sensitive works.
Explore the Collection
Crystal Bridges’ permanent collection spans five centuries of American masterworks ranging from the Colonial era to the current day. Included within the collection are iconic images such as Asher B. Durand’s Kindred Spirits, Norman Rockwell’s Rosie the Riveter, and Andy Warhol’s Coca-Cola — each reflecting a distinct moment in American artistic evolution.
A year-round schedule of temporary exhibitions enhances the guest experience of the Museum’s permanent collection by providing opportunities to enjoy traveling exhibitions from other institutions, or special presentations of artworks from our own and other museum collections, organized by Crystal Bridges.
