Inspired by the galleries of Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, each WOW experience transforms art into a thoughtfully curated, multi-course dining experience. Through seasonal ingredients, expressive plating, and chef-led storytelling, color, texture, history, and emotion are reimagined as flavors to be shared around the table.

Throughout the evening, guests are introduced to the featured works of art and the creative inspiration behind each course, discovering how the museum's collection comes to life on the plate.

On August 5, Quartz + Honey in Color celebrates the extraordinary beauty found beneath the earth's surface and within Crystal Bridges' collection. The evening draws inspiration from four remarkable mineral specimens featured at the museum—Arkansas quartz, known as the "Holy Grail," azurite, galena, and raw aquamarine—whose luminous colors, intricate formations, and natural textures become the foundation for the menu. The experience also highlights Quartz + Honey, Crystal Bridges' newest culinary destination, which opened with the museum's expansion on June 6. Inspired by the same spirit of artistry and craftsmanship, the café offers artisanal pastries, expertly crafted coffee, and a welcoming gathering space where guests can continue to experience the connection between creativity, community, and exceptional food long after the evening concludes.

The experience also explores Caves and Minds, Paula Hayes' immersive, site-specific installation created exclusively for Crystal Bridges. Inspired by Arkansas' rich geological heritage, and the relationship between people and the natural world, Hayes combines hand-blown glass terrariums, sculptural fiberglass forms, and minerals sourced throughout the United States—including calcite, aquamarine, Herkimer diamonds, and Missouri peacock ore.
