Join writer Jane Blunschi for the final in a series of talks that explore the works and lives of LGBTQ+ artists in the museum’s permanent collection. This series will feature one conversation per month beginning with Pride month in June and culminating with Gay History Month in October.

Kehinde Wiley’s bold, gorgeous portraits are the ideal context in which to celebrate Queer Style. Tender, reverent, and exquisitely wrought, Wiley’s paintings are at once naturalistic and ornate, featuring subjects the artist has cast in a light nothing short of divine. October is Gay History Month, a time to reflect on the stories and styles at the heart of queer culture.

Free, no tickets required.
