We will be closed Monday, May 13, to prepare for the visit of Antiques Roadshow. We will return to normal hours of operation Wednesday, May 15.
Fort Smith, the CB to You Mobile Art Lab is coming to your neighborhood!
Join us at our Welcome Celebration as we kick off our visit to the Fort Smith area! Partner artist and local poet Lynette Thrower will be at the Fort Smith Public Library from 3 to 6 p.m. leading a poetry-inspired painting activity. You’ll get to meet Lynette and learn about her creative practice, as well as her experiences with community, belonging, and resilience. Guests can also check out an art tote packed with creative supplies and meet with artist and tote designer Tram Colwin, as well as enjoy live performances by a local musician, presented by Music Moves.
Free, no tickets required. Drop by anytime from 3 to 6 p.m.
The CB to You Mobile Art Lab is a traveling pop-up art experience energizing the power of community through art. Featuring regional artists from across Northwest Arkansas, the art lab will be visiting local libraries and festivals around the region to bring artmaking, music, storytelling, and more.
