Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art will be closed Monday, May 13, to prepare for the visit of Antiques Roadshow. We will return to normal hours of operation Wednesday, May 15.

Crystal Bridges is turning 10, and we want you to come party with us!

In honor of our anniversary year and the temporary exhibition Crystal Bridges at 10, we’re hosting a museum-wide, evening celebration featuring artmaking, music, and more. Come grab a drink and create self-portraits in our restaurant, Eleven, or dig into games inspired by exhibition artist Mark Dion.

Haven’t seen the exhibition yet? We’ve got you—Crystal Bridges at 10 will be free for the evening, and even exhibition veterans will find something new waiting in the galleries. You’ll be able to meet artist Ziba Rajabi as she discusses her work, and experts from the University of Arkansas will be in the Mark Dion rooms to help you explore the wondrous specimens on display. You’ll even be able to step into Maxfield Parrish’s The Lantern Bearers for an unforgettable group portrait, captured with the help of a professional photographer.

Love the night air? We’ll be taking this shindig into the great outdoors with activities to give you a brand new look at our museum grounds. Or, make it a night to remember by pre-ordering a Culinary Art Package with wine, snacks, and luscious desserts for a moonlight feast.

And, since no party is complete without music, we’ll have live performances throughout the night. Jazz pianists Claudia Burson, Kansas City’s Roger Wilder, and Matt Nelson, selected by the Northwest Arkansas Jazz Society, will be performing on our Van Cliburn Concert Grand piano at 6, 7,  and 8 p.m. under the Garrison Lobby dome. Or, if you want to move to a different beat, join the dance party hosted by House of Songs featuring Jake Hertzog and Lauren Nicole Clare in the Great Hall! No matter what you love, there’s bound to be something for everyone.

Come join us for creative fun the whole family can enjoy—you deserve a night out.
