Teen Council

Join Teen Council!

Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art is seeking applications from creative, committed, and diverse high school students with an interest in art and community engagement to be part of the Museum’s 2018-2019 Teen Council.

Teen Council is a group of motivated and inspired teens who work collaboratively on creating a positive space in the Museum. We create programs by teens, for teens. We are committed and excited to continue improving our events and the Museum. We meet once every week (on alternating Wednesday or Thursday from 5:00-6:30pm) and discuss ways to engage teens in the community through art. We are responsible for planning bi-yearly teen nights and smaller TEN (Teen Experience Night. We communicate and keep up to date with each other via a private Slack account. You must be able to attend at least one meeting per month or you will be removed from the Council.

Applications close August 3
Group interviews will be held August 8 and 9
