Virtual Adult Art Workshop » Kitchen Screenprinting with Matthew Brandt
Off the plate and onto the canvas! Join artist Matthew Brandt via Zoom for an experimental afternoon of landscape-inspired screen printing. Drawing on Brandt’s work Ketchup and Mustard from the Taste Tests Series, currently on view in the exhibition Ansel Adams in Our Time at Crystal Bridges, guests will create their own screened prints utilizing a variety of edible condiments. Materials for the workshop will be provided in an Art Box for pickup at Crystal Bridges, or the box can be shipped to you for an additional $15.

About Matthew Brandt
Brandt was born in California, received his BFA from The Cooper Union in New York and his MFA from UCLA. His photography conflates subject and material, incorporating physical elements from the sources he’s depicting to create unique compositions that are technically inventive and conceptually sly.
