Saturday Session » Tempera
Tempera painting (also known as egg tempera) has a rich history as a medium of choice for artists from ancient times to today, and is even an older form of painting than oil. In this four-hour workshop, we will discuss works of art in the focus exhibition, Tempera, then work in the studios exploring the process for making egg tempera and techniques for layering and building up the rich colors that make tempera such a special medium. Four hours of PD credit available.
