Performance Lab » Malcolm Revisited

Malcolm Revisited is an interactive performance and dedication to the iconic historic figure, Malcolm X. The performance is directed by the founder of #BlackLivesMatter, Patrisse Cullors, who is trained in techniques of Theater of the Oppressed. The performance explores what it means to protect Black lives and art’s ability to open doors in difficult conversations across generations, gender, race, and ability. This performance is a homage to #BlackLivesMatter, Malcolm X, and the past and current freedom fighters in this movement.
