Nature Talk: Healthy Trees, Healthy Lives
Research shows that communities are healthier when they have an abundance of well-cared-for trees. In this conversation, Healthy Trees, Healthy Lives: How to Take Care of Trees so They Can Take Care of Us, Krista Quinn from the Arkansas Forestry Commission will teach museum guests how to take care of the trees in their home landscape so they will flourish and provide many valuable benefits for years to come.
Krista Quinn is the Urban Forestry Program Coordinator with the Arkansas Forestry Commission and the state coordinator for the Tree City USA program. Krista has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Horticulture from the University of Arkansas and is a certified arborist. She has over 20 years of experience working in horticultural research, production, and education.
