Gallery Conversation » What’s New?

Join curator Mindy Besaw for a discussion on two works from John Singleton Copley, Mrs. Theodore Atkinson Jr. (Frances Deering Wentworth) and Theodore Atkinson Jr. Reunited for the first time in over 100 years, the two portraits tell the story of the maturing skills of Colonial Boston’s leading portraitist, as well as the New Hampshire Atkinson family. Come hear tales of marriage, art, love affairs, mis-attributions, and untimely deaths.

Free, no registration required. Space is limited; please arrive 5 to 10 minutes early.
