Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art will be closed Monday, May 13, to prepare for the visit of Antiques Roadshow. We will return to normal hours of operation Wednesday, May 15.

Their art gave witness to an enduring faith—now come hear the stories behind the art. Join curatorial assistant Jayson Overby for a discussion on our new focus exhibition, This is the Day. Featuring works from Crystal Bridges’ permanent collection, this free exhibition brings together 24 artistic representations of Black faith and spirituality, including the work of Bruce Davidson, Faith Ringgold, and Arkansas-based photographer Aaron Turner. Each piece illuminates the resilience of the Black church and the communities it has served for more than 300 years. Learn about the everyday stories, struggles, and celebrations that have given shape to Black lives and culture over the years, both historically and today.

Free, no registration required.
