Join Matt Wood, 10th-grade Pre-AP English teacher by day and comic book expert by night, as he shares how graphic literature, comic books, have represented all types of people for decades. See how the modern comic book connects to today’s world issues and unveil the many secrets to why comics are for everyone!

Wood graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with an MA in English Literature, is a frequent contributor to the Talking Comics website and podcast, and is also the co-host of Bendis Assembled, a podcast exploring Brian Michael Bendis’ run on The Avengers.

While this talk is free, a ticket to Men of Steel, Women of Wonder is required.
