Canceled – Gallery Conversation » Hank Willis Thomas: Deconstructing Symbols

This event has been canceled due to Crystal Bridges’ response to COVID-19. Follow our updates.

Join Museum Educator for Outreach and Community Affairs Raven Cook during the final weekend of our temporary exhibition, Hank Willis Thomas: All Things Being Equal…, for an in-depth look at Thomas’s work Black Righteous Space. Cook will examine the historical context that underlies our evolving understanding of symbols and their narratives.

In addition to her work in the Education department at Crystal Bridges, Cook is also the founder of Foundations: Black History Educational Programming and hosts a weekly segment on KUAF called “Reflections in Black” that focuses on the legacy of black Americans.
