Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art will be closed Monday, May 13, to prepare for the visit of Antiques Roadshow. We will return to normal hours of operation Wednesday, May 15.

There’s a reason classical artists have always studied figure drawing: it’s a great way to learn art!

Join us for an evening of drawing the human form, led by artist and designer Lucrecia Islas. Learn how to truly see what’s in front of you and then capture it on paper, all while building an artful composition of your own. No experience? Not a problem! Whether you’re a doodler or Da Vinci, all skill levels are welcome and encouraged to attend.

All drawing materials will be provided, though we encourage you to bring your own sketchbook if you have one. One drink and light appetizers are included with registration.

Still peckish? We’ll be hosting the event in the museum’s restaurant, Eleven, so feel free to take advantage of our weeknight Bar and Bites specials as well: Half-price beer and wine ($3 beer, $4 house wine), $1 soda and iced tea. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights, 4 to 6:30 PM Program attendees enjoy discounts until 9 PM!
