Featured Artisan and Demonstration » Susan Tinker’s Hand-Painted Silk Scarves

Color and fabric have been the constant guiding elements in Susan Tinker’s life as a weaver, seamstress, quilter, and painter. Dying silk is a simple progression of this timeless practice. Each silk charmeuse scarf is painted or printed with the best French silk dyes. Tinker will be demonstrating her silk-painting technique throughout the day, and sharing new works inspired by the temporary exhibition The Beyond: Georgia O’Keeffe and Contemporary Art. Come and select a personal piece of art that you can wear with anything!

Free, no registration required.
