Trails and Grounds open daily sunrise to sunset.
We will be closed Monday, May 13, to prepare for the visit of Antiques Roadshow. We will return to normal hours of operation Wednesday, May 15.
Summertime is in the air! Come spend the evening with the fireflies as we learn about butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, bats, and more with hands-on artmaking that’s fun for all ages. Then, at 8:30, join us for a screening of Wings of Life, a documentary about the importance and beauty of small creatures. Outdoor chairs and seating will be provided, but feel free to bring your own blankets and settle in for the show. We will be maintaining social distancing during the event.

For the health and safety of our staff and guests, face coverings are recommended for children 2 and up, unless they are vaccinated. Children’s masks are available upon entry to the museum, or you can provide a mask from home. Guests and staff who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are no longer required to wear face coverings. If guests are not vaccinated, face coverings are still required. Additional safety measures will be observed during this event.
