In conjunction with the Crystal Bridges at 10 exhibition, we invite you to a weekend of experimental printmaking. The workshop will be led by local artist Ziba Rajabi, whose installation Glitched Home will be created on-site in the Crystal Bridges at 10 exhibition gallery during the month of July. Inspired by the artist’s memories of home and digital images received from her family, Ziba will create a fiber installation using hand-printed and painted fabrics to cover the entirety of the walls and floor and create the illusion of domestic space. In this workshop, Ziba will teach a technique that she uses to transfer printed photos from paper to canvas. Each guest will create their own printed photo transfer canvas.
Per CDC guidelines, guests and staff who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are no longer required to wear face coverings. If guests are not vaccinated, face coverings are still required.
