Volunteer Spotlight: Linda Fragassi

Meet Crystal Bridges Volunteer, Linda Fragassi!

Career Information

I worked in school districts in Southern California, Kansas City, Missouri, and Rogers, Arkansas.

Crafting and RVing to every state; also driving to Alaska and Canada twice.

Favorite artwork or space at the Museum

I like the historical paintings and the museum store, and the trails are wonderful!

How did you learn about the Museum and what prompted you to get involved?

I had just retired and wanted to be with people.  The staff really appreciate you!

In what ways have you been involved as a volunteer with the Museum thus far?

I worked in the museum store and now I work with Lisa marking items for the store. I get to see the new items, and sometimes buy them too, I also helped with the Crystal Bridges float for the Bentonville Christmas Parade.

What keep you coming back to volunteer?

Meeting people from all over the world! I can’t say enough about how nice everyone is.

What do you enjoy most about your volunteer experience?

The wonderful people I have met!  We all come from different walks of life, yet we all have the museum in common.

What have you learned or how have you been personally affected from your experience with the Museum?

How to appreciate art.

Do you have any advice for individuals considering volunteering with Crystal Bridges?

I talk to my friends about how much I enjoy it here.

Linda Fragassi is my sister-in-law. She has always expressed how much she likes working with the wonderful people at Crystal Bridges and how she enjoys talking to all the visitors she has met from all over the country. Linda does her volunteering because she not only loves it, but believes it has broadened her appreciation of art and something she feels very good about doing and hopes more people will consider volunteering.
