The Guest Services desk
Located in the Museum’s main lobby, Guest Services is your resource for many museum amenities and services, including Lost and Found, maps, brochures, self-guided and audio tours, and information about guided tours and educational programs. Guests may also purchase tickets for special exhibitions and events here.
Crystal Bridges offers several technological resources our guests can access here at the Museum, out on the trails, or at home.
Guests are welcome to bring their own wheelchairs (motorized or non-motorized). A limited number of wheelchairs are available from Guest Services on a first-come, first-served basis, at no cost.
Strollers are welcome in all parts of the Museum, as long as space permits and the stroller is controlled by an adult.
Front carriers are allowed in the galleries, as are sling-style child carriers. Backpack style carriers are not permitted. Those can be stored in the checkroom during your visit.
Large items, including backpacks, backpack-style child carriers, tripods, umbrellas, or any package or other item larger than 11 x 15″ are not allowed in the galleries and should be left in the checkroom. Self-service checkrooms are located in the lower lobby (one level down from the main lobby), and adjacent to the south lobby. Lockers are provided for your valuables at no charge.
There are restrooms in the following locations, with family restrooms and changing stations available at each. Consult your Museum map for exact locations.
- lower lobby
- between the Lower Temporary Exhibitions Gallery and Early Twentieth-Century Art Gallery
- reflection area between the Early Twentieth-Century and Twentieth-Century Art Galleries
- the Community Showcase corridor near the south lobby
- in the Library
On the first floor near the Great Hall there is a private room that can be used, when it is available, by nursing mothers who prefer a private setting. Please ask a Museum security officer or Guest Services for access.
Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in all the indoor public spaces.
Gallery Seating and Reflection Areas
Benches are located in each gallery to allow you to sit down, rest, and enjoy the artwork. Additional seating is provided in the Reflection Areas between galleries where you can take in views of the beautiful Crystal Bridges landscape. A selection of art reference books and iPads featuring the Museum app and other ebooks are provided here for your enjoyment.
Binders containing large-print copies of the labels for works on view throughout the Museum are provided in the reflection areas between galleries.
