Mary Doyle Keefe, the model for Norman Rockwell’s iconic “Rosie the Riveter” has died at the age of 92. The painting is one of the most beloved in our collection, and stands as a powerful reminder of American women’s critical contributions to victory during World War II. It can be found in our 1940s to Now Art Gallery. http://wapo.st/1PobJRC

Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art added 94 new photos to the album: The Factory Teen Night.

Tag yourself and your friends in these photos from The Factory Teen Night, an evening inspired by Andy Warhol's New York Studio! Teens discovered the masterpieces of #VanGoghtoRothko, enjoyed the Pseudo-Psychedlia Eerie-pop sound of Jungle Cycle, danced to a DJ, tried their hand at silk-screen painting, created a dream mural, and posed for the photo booth. Teen Night was planned by Crystal Bridges Teen Council for area high school students. Photography by Gareth Patterson Photos.
