Expand your art-making repertoire with a Sunday Workshop! Every other month, Crystal Bridges offers half-day hands-on workshops connecting you to the art in our collection and featuring a variety of media, including painting, photography, sculpture, collage, and book-making.

Movement and Meditation

Each Movement and Meditation session mixes visual art with body and mind exercises in a specially prepared lesson guided by a Yoga Story instructor.

Discover the Grounds!

Build a personal connection with Crystal Bridges’ landscape and discover the vitality of our 120-acre grounds in our educational program series, Discover the Grounds! Join a hands-on nature class exploring specific areas of the Museum’s environment with our expert grounds team.

Performance and Film

Refresh your connection with art at Crystal Bridges and experience the converging of live musical performance, a dramatic monologue, interpretive dance, poetry reading, and films inspired by the Museum’s collection. These free public performances take place in various locations both inside and outside the Museum

Art Talks

Stimulate your thinking through thought-provoking presentations in the galleries by Museum professionals. “Views” are guided discussions with art experts that provide insight into the history, significance, or artistry of various artworks. “Conversations” offer informal discussions between various Museum staff members and guests to explore an artwork or group of works.

Drop-In Drawing

Join in on a free, informal drawing session in the Museum. Materials are provided and a Museum educator will be on hand to get you started or offer guidance. Check at Guest Services for the specific location. All ages are welcome!

Drop-In Studio

Studio Sessions are artist-led art-making sessions that take place one day a month in the Durand and Estes Studios (located next door to Experience Art Studio). Materials and instructions for several projects are provided at no cost, and an artist-educator will guide you through the process.
