Adult Mini Workshops » Margaret Warren
Led by artist Margaret Warren, participants will work with fired clay to create elegant fluted bowls and saucers that imitate similar shapes created in glassblowing. Each student will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of glaze colors and to add glass chips to the center of their bowls, creating a unique blend of colors. Projects will be fired off site and available for pickup at the museum two weeks after the workshop.
Warren currently teaches ceramics at National Park College in Hot Springs, AR. She received her BFA from Missouri State University and holds an MFA from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA. She is the creator of the annual Arkansas Women’s Hall of Fame award and her artwork can be found in public and private collections throughout the United States.
