First Look at Spring

blooms

This morning, all Crystal Bridges staff members received an email from Scott Eccleston, our Director of Operations, reminding us to look up from our work and take a moment to appreciate spring as it unfurls on our museum’s beautiful trails and grounds. He even recommended a short walk we could take along the Tulip Tree Trail, noting a few highlights along the way.

I leapt up from my desk and raced outside to try the tour for myself so I could share some pictures with our blog readers. It’s a lovely walk, though I don’t recommend taking it in four-inch heels!

Spring is ephemeral, take time to enjoy it!  –LD

Teams,

Take a deep breath, raise your right hand and say “I will not miss spring!”

You must turn  left at Vaquero (the cowboy sculpture by Luis Jimenez near Crystal Bridges’ south entrance), take the Tulip Tree Trail,  and follow these directions for Scott’s “not to miss” highlight tour.

If you see the Trails and Grounds team out and about, let them know that their work made your day!

Don’t miss Spring,

Scott
