How frequently do you visit Crystal Bridges? I try to attend at least one event per month.

What made you decide to become a Member of Crystal Bridges? I wanted to get more involved with young professional groups in Northwest Arkansas. I thought it would be a good idea to get myself outside of Fayetteville.

What benefit of Membership do you appreciate the most and why? I enjoy the opportunity to participate in new exhibition previews as well as artist studio visits.

Are there particular artworks or galleries that are special to you? Which ones and why? I thought the State of the Art exhibition was unique. A lot of the works in the exhibition are not what would be considered “well-known.” As such, those that were able to view this collection may very well be one of the lucky few to have had the opportunity to get to know these artworks at this stage of the artists careers.

Why do you feel art is important—for individuals, families, communities? It allows people to physically represent their creativity and to view a particular subject through someone else’s eyes, which is a great way to expand individual thinking.

How has Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art impacted you? It has helped fill the great need for things to do for young professionals looking to stay in Northwest Arkansas, but who would like to enjoy an entertainment level on par with larger cities.

How has Crystal Bridges impacted you and your family? The region as a whole? I think the major impact of Crystal Bridges comes from the value that it adds to the area; bringing with it modernization, entertainment, arts, and relevance.
