Rent the Museum for Your Special Event

Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art features some of the most unique and elegant event venues in the region, offering facilities for a wide variety of events. Your guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the Crystal Bridges’ ponds and landscapes from the Museum’s Great Hall or Eleven, dance the night away on the spacious outdoor Walker Landing, or celebrate alongside the Art Trail on the Museum’s South Lawn, surrounded by native Ozark forest. Your guests also have the unique opportunity to experience the Museum’s breathtaking collection of American Art.

Facilities should be booked a minimum of six weeks prior to your event and may be booked up to 12 months in advance.

Who Can Rent:

Crystal Bridges facilities are available for rental by all Museum Members. Information about becoming a Museum Member.

What’s Included in Your Rental Package:

Tables and chairs and their set-up, as well as basic security and custodial services, are included in all interior rentals. Exterior spaces require furniture rental, which your Special Events representative will be more than happy to arrange for you. Catering, linens, d├ęcor, and service staff are not included in any rental. These services may be arranged through the Special Events office.

Please note the Special Events office is not able to accept reservations for regular dinner service at Eleven.
For dinner reservations, please call 479-418-5700, option 2.

When Are Facilities Available for Rental:

Venues are available for rental Wednesday through Monday, 8:00 am to 11:00 pm and quoted based on specific timeframes. Please see listings below for further detail. Unfortunately the Museum is not available for rental on Tuesdays.

Indoor Spaces Available

The Great Hall

The Great Hall is a dramatic and elegant venue featuring soaring pine-beamed ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. Surrounded on three sides by water, the Great Hall offers breathtaking views of Crystal Bridges upper pond, and features its own kitchen facilities and coat check room.

The Great Hall may also be rented in conjunction with the south lobby. However, the south lobby is not available for rental during Museum public hours.

Gallery Access
The Great Hall Package includes one hour of viewing in a selected gallery for your guests. Visit the Museum’s exhibits page for information about temporary exhibitions at the time of your event.

Landing Suites

The Museum offers three Landing Suites that make excellent meeting and reception spaces for smaller groups. These rooms are located on the lower level of the Museum, and open onto Walker Landing. The Landing Suites may be rented separately or together. The Bellows and Cassatt rooms can be combined to make one larger room.

Seminar Room

The Museum’s Seminar Room is a private, glass-walled room located off the corridor that leads from the main lobby to the Temporary Exhibitions Gallery and Great Hall

Board Room

Located in the Crystal Bridges Library, the Board Room features beautiful views of the Museum’s upper pond and surrounding forest. The room is equipped with a drop-down screen and input for your laptop. A private restroom is adjacent.

Outdoor Spaces Available

Trail Weddings

Small weddings are permitted on Crystal Bridges trails and grounds, subject to approval and contract by the Crystal Bridges Special Events office. These permits are for brief (under 30 minutes) ceremonies with fewer than 10 guests. Use of our trail shelters or other facilities is not included. Larger parties, or those wishing to use the Tulip Tree or Rock Ledge Trail Shelters, should contact the Special Events office to reserve facility space. There is a $50 fee for the permit, which should be requested at least 72 hours prior to the event.

Walker Landing

Elegant and spacious, Walker Landing lies at the heart of the Crystal Bridges campus, offering lovely views of the Museum’s architecture and the surrounding forest. This paved venue overlooks the Museum’s lower pond and features a circular waterfront amphitheater. Walker Landing can be rented alone, or combined with the use of up to three adjacent Function Rooms.

The South Lawn

Located at the south entrance to Crystal Bridges, the South Lawn is a verdant area adjacent to Crystal Spring, and features Robert Indiana’s iconic Love sculpture. Tents can be erected to provide shade or weather coverage. The South Lawn may be rented as a stand-alone venue, or combined with rental of the Great Hall or Twin Bridges area.

The Twin Bridges

Located near the south entrance to the Museum, the Twin Bridges area is a paved patio between the two bridges that span the creek that feeds Crystal Bridges ponds. The area features benches, trees, access to the Art Trail, and beautiful landscaping. This area may be rented as a stand-alone venue, or combined with rental of the South Lawn.

East Terrace

Just up a flight of steps from Walker Landing is the lovely multi-tiered East Terrace. This intimate, elegant space has the feel of a hidden garden, and features the graceful Celeste Roberge sculpture, Chaise Gabion and the monolithic Already Set In Motion by Robyn Horn.

Tulip Tree Shelter

The Tulip Tree Shelter was built from a 1/3 scale model of Crystal Bridges’ roof structure that was built to test the design prior to construction of the Museum. It was repurposed for use as a trail shelter through the generosity of the Havner family of Bentonville. Located just off the Tulip Tree Trail, this graceful and striking shelter is surrounded by Ozark forest. The Tulip Tree and Rock Ledge Shelters are available for rental by Museum Members and non-Members.

Rock Ledge Shelter

Built of native stone and wood, the Rock Ledge Shelter is located north east of the Museum, near the Rock Ledge trailhead. The shelter is surrounded by Ozark forest and graced by flowering redbud trees in the spring. The Tulip Tree and Rock Ledge Shelters are available for rental by Museum Members and non-Members.
