Group Tours

Please take a moment to read the following information about Group Tour opportunities at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. Groups are recognized as having a minimum of 10 guests and a maximum of 60 guests. If you have any questions, please contact the Group Tours Department at 479-418-5746.
Tours
Option 1
Self-Guided Tours (Free) are available any time the Museum is open. Reservations through the Group Tour Department are requested, but not required.
Option 2
Public Drop-in Guided Tours (Free) meet daily at 2:30 p.m. and accommodate a maximum of 15 guests. No tickets necessary. Tour begins in the lower lobby. Please arrive 5 minutes in advance.
Option 3
Guided Trail Tours ($10 per guest) In spring, 2013, Crystal Bridges will begin offering private Trail Tours for groups who book in advance and desire an outdoor experience during their visit. Outdoor tours will last approximately 60 minutes. These can be arranged through our Group Tours office when you book your group visit.
Guided Tours must be coordinated with the Group Tours Department a minimum of 14 days in advance.
Trail Tour Seasonal Experiences
Spring 2013: Dogwood Tour From March through April, Trail Guides will offer a special experience on the Dogwood Trail to witness the blooming of these beautiful trees of the Ozarks. Because bloom times vary from year to year, specific dates and times for these tours have not yet been determined.
Summer 2013: Signature Plant Tour From May through July, Trail Guides will offer experiences highlighting the signature plants, natural features, and outdoor works of art on various trails throughout the Museum grounds.
Fall 2013: Foliage Tour From September through November, Trail Guides will offer fall foliage experiences highlighting trees and other plants that stand out on Crystal Bridges’ trails during the fall season.
Option 4
Guided Tours for groups ($10 per guest) are offered daily at noon; and Wednesday and Friday at 6:30 p.m. Guided Group Tours are very popular. To secure a date that works for your group, we encourage you to schedule as far in advance as possible. Please note that late arrivals (more than 15 minutes late) may not be guaranteed a Guide. Guided Tours must be coordinated with the Group Tours Department a minimum of 14 days in advance.

Crystal Bridges Experience tour
An overview of the architecture, grounds, and the permanent art collection.
Collection Highlights
This tour visits some of the best-known names in American art.
Inspiring Women
Take a look at women in the art world, both as artists and subjects.
Option 5
Guided Tours for Youth Groups (Free) If you are a youth group such as Boy Scout, Girl Scout, or community center, and or summer camp would like to schedule a guided tour of our permanent collection, please complete the following Youth Tour Request form. Youth Group Tours must be requested six weeks in advance. Following your request, a Museum Educator will contact you to confirm if your request can be accommodated. Youth group tours are limited to 45 students and take place Monday through Friday, 11 - 5.

Group Meals
A minimum of 14 days' notice is required to schedule pre-set meals. A final count for the number of meals is required no less than 14 days prior to the scheduled event.
Option 1
Boxed Lunches
in Bellows and Cassatt meeting rooms
10 minimum to 60 maximum
$14 per person (plus tax)
- Groups will select two sandwich choices for a group of 10-30 guests. Groups will select up to four sandwich choices for a group of 31-60 guests.
Boxed lunch menus are available for your review, and a vegetarian option is available. Boxed lunches are served at 11 am & 12:30 pm
Option 2
Pre-Set Lunch
in Eleven at Crystal Bridges
10 minimum to 40 maximum
$16.50 per person (plus tax)
- Groups will select three meal choices per group
Pre-set lunch menus are available for your review, and a vegetarian option is available. Pre-set lunches are available at 11 a.m. only, Monday through Friday (excluding Tuesday).
Option 3
Pre-Set Dinner
in Eleven at Crystal Bridges
10 minimum to 35 maximum
$27.50 per person (plus tax and gratuity)
- Groups will select three meal choices per group
Pre-set dinner menus are available for your review, and a vegetarian option is available. Pre-set dinners are available at 5 p.m. Wednesday and Friday.
Temporary Exhibitions
Crystal Bridges is pleased to offer several temporary exhibitions throughout the year. Reserved, timed tickets are often required, and an additional fee may apply. The Group Tour Department will help your group with reserving and purchasing tickets when applicable.
Arrivals & Delays
Tour Groups should plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled tour/meal time. Groups arriving earlier than that may be asked to remain on their bus until a member of the Group Tours staff can greet them and orient them to Crystal Bridges.
In the event of a travel delay, groups should contact Crystal Bridges to inform the Group Tour staff as soon as possible. Crystal Bridges cannot guarantee Tour Guide availability for groups arriving 15 minutes after their scheduled tour time.
Directions & Parking
If traveling by motor coach, bus, or van (vehicles with a seating capacity greater than 15), please inform your driver to drop guests off at the Main Entrance. After all guests have disembarked the motor coach, the driver will need to park at Orchards Park, which is located directly across NE J Street from the Museum entrance. The walk to the Museum from Orchards Park, via our beautiful trails, is approximately 10 minutes.
If traveling by cars, simply park in the upper or lower parking areas located adjacent to the Museum.
